ClassWallet

Over two years, I redefined and standardized the UX across ClassWallet’s core products, creating a robust design system, optimizing complex workflows, and enhancing usability for thousands of users in the education finance space.
I designed and implemented a comprehensive design system in Figma, tightly integrated with React components and hosted in Storybook. This collaborative workflow with developers ensured consistency across products, reduced implementation time, and fostered a shared understanding of design principles. By centralizing our components, we achieved faster prototyping, seamless handoffs, and a scalable foundation that could evolve with the product’s growth.
One of the most impactful applications of our design standards was the redesign of the reporting tool built in Superset. By applying the design system, I ensured visual and functional alignment with the core products, enhancing the tool's usability and coherence. This improved data visualization clarity, simplified navigation, and empowered users to access and analyze financial reports more effectively.
I strategically planned the design system to support future scalability by enabling the creation of subbranches. By modifying a few key variables, we could generate entirely new design systems tailored to specific needs, all while leveraging the same component library. This modularity not only streamlined the design and development process for derivative products but also maintained brand consistency across multiple platforms.
